Gizmo Wexler founded CompuFriend Computer Corporation in 1997 to help his friends who were having trouble finding a single point of contact to help them with their computers. While working in the early computer field, Gizmo witnessed the frustration endured by his own friends and family at the lack of quality support promised by the major computer companies. His friends called on him to assist with setup, addition of peripherals, networking, and troubleshooting various problems. He helped them establish a comfortable and confident relationship with their computers. In 2002 Gizmo moved to New York and he continues his effort to help people maintain their computer and now the latest technologies by providing a single point of contact for the consumer so they no longer have to figure out on their own who to call.
